Space Adventure

Strap in and get ready to build a space adventure of your own.

Cut & Paste: Space Adventure invites children ages 4 and up to cut out rockets, robots, astronauts, aliens and other space treasures, then arrange them into scenes of their own. A rocket can rise from the moon, a friendly alien can visit a space greenhouse, or an explorer can travel past Saturn’s rings—each page gives children a new mission to imagine.

Inside are 30 cut-out pages and 20 scenes to complete, including the lunar surface, an orbital station, a moon base, a cratered planet, Saturn’s rings and other cosmic landscapes. Children can follow the suggested ideas or move the pieces around to invent a different crew, vehicle or destination every time.

The shapes are large and clearly separated for small hands. Adult help is recommended when using scissors. With its simple cut, paste and create rhythm, this is a calm screen-free activity that supports fine-motor practice, hand-eye coordination and creative storytelling.

Open the astronaut passport, choose a mission and let the next space scene begin.
